Legal Clinic

The Association of Italian-Canadian jurists of Quebec Legal Clinic was founded by the AICJQ with the assistance of the Italian-Canadian Community Services of Quebec (SCCIQ). The clinic seeks to promote the access to justice while educating the Montreal community at large regarding their legal rights. The AJICQ Legal Clinic has created a discrete environment where citizens can receive guidance pertaining to their legal issues. Through this initiative, AICJQ hopes to give back to the Montreal community while creating lasting change.

As of September 2022, the AICJQ Legal Clinic will provide a free thirty (30) minute bilingual legal information consultation with current McGill law students, under the supervision of lawyers. Consultations will be confidential, offered online and by appointment at the Italian-Canadian Community Services office located on the third floor of the Leonardo da Vinci Centre which is situated at 8370 Boulevard Lacordaire, in Saint-Leonard.

The legal clinic offers advice in all areas of law and provides a variety of resources on a case-by-case basis.
